Romeo's Pizza: Cooking With Capone

Capone Sauce is so tasty, you can put it on virtually any dish of your choosing!  This week, we’re showing you how to make a delicious meal for two consisting of Steamy Salmon & Asparagus topped with a crispy parmesan coating.

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon filets
  • 1/2 bushel of asparagus
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • (A generous) 1/3 cup Capone sauce

Directions: 

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cut the ends off the asparagus and set aside. Mix the onion powder and garlic powder into the olive oil and set aside. Line a baking sheet with foil (to keep the salmon from sticking). Spread out asparagus on pan and drizzle with the olive oil and season mixture.

Toss with your hands to ensure thorough coating then move to one half of the pan. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the asparagus. 

Lay out salmon filets skin side down.  Season asparagus and salmon with salt and pepper. Generously pour Capone Sauce over salmon and brush to evenly coat. 

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
